HBP wins British "Book of the Year Award"  

At the British Book Awards that were held in london tonight, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was name "Book of the Year". The awards are voted on by the public and Rowling beat out autobiographies by the likes of John Peel and Sharon Osbourne.

Jo commented: "I'm delighted that Harry Potter continues to give so much pleasure to adults and children." She added that Book 7 was "coming along nicely."
